The two newest members of the team at Norton Park say they can’t wait to find out more about the charities we work with.
Leanne Stewart and Wendy Foster have both recently started work as Business Centre Assistants – a role which involves often being the first to welcome visitors to our hub.
Both have been impressed by the friendly atmosphere at Norton Park and with the welcome they have had from our tenants, all of whom work in the third sector.
They are no strangers to each other, having both previously worked for gym firm David Lloyd, alongside our Business Centre Manager Yolanda Wringe.
One what attracted her to the new role at Norton Park, Leanne said: “I was looking for a change in career and have always wanted to get involved with charities. That made this a great opportunity.
“I am looking forward to learning more about the charities, getting involved with them and progressing in my new role.”
Wendy is no stranger to the third sector, having worked previously for Children with Cancer and Leukemia Advice and Support for Parents (CCLASP).
She said: “I wanted to return to working with charities. I am enjoying getting to know everyone and seeing how we can help make things easy and accessible for centre users.
“There’s a great atmosphere here – friendly and professional.”
On the new appointments, Yolanda said: “We’re delighted to have Leanne and Wendy join the team. They’re great additions. I know they’ll make a real difference for our tenants and visitors here at Norton Park.”
