EMMS International has moved into one of the workspaces at Norton Park.
EMMS International is a healthcare charity working in Edinburgh, India, Malawi and Nepal. Throughout their work, they help to improve the health and healthcare of maringalised people. In Edinburgh, Malawi and Nepal, EMMS International specialise in palliative care, while in both Malawi and India, they help women from vulnerable areas to train for healthcare careers. They do all their work through 10 partners, of whom 9 are overseas.
EMMS International are funded by generous individuals amongst the public, by trusts large and small, and by the UK Government (DFID), which, together with the True Colours Trust and others, funds the £1 million palliative care improvement project in Malawi.
