Norton Park is delighted to announce the appointment of Yolanda Wringe as its new Business Centre Manager. She brings with her vast experience in facilities management which will be invaluable to the social enterprise as it looks to the future.
Norton Park operates a business centre in the transformed former school building of the same name on Albion Road, Edinburgh, as well as a conference centre in the former St Mungo’s Church which neighbours it.
The complex is renowned for its strong environmental credentials, which raised the bar for the green credentials of building projects across Scotland when the school was redeveloped.
Norton Park is a business hub for charities, which is home to 19 tenants who operate across the whole spectrum of the third sector.
Yolanda joins from Pure Offices Ltd, where she worked for 18 months having also worked for health and fitness club David Lloyd, where she held a variety of management positions over 14 years.
On what attracted her to the role, she said: “The charity’s ethos and positioning regarding being eco-friendly and energy efficient in both the business and conference centre aligns with my beliefs.
“I feel that being part of this charity, whose purpose is to allow other charities to thrive and grow, and being able to facilitate this, makes coming to work each day a pleasure.”
Norton Park is operating within all Scottish Government Covid-19 guidelines, as it has been throughout the pandemic, with many of its tenants playing important parts in supporting people through this challenging time.
As guidelines relax, Yolanda says she is looking forward to welcoming back tenants to their offices when the time is right.
“I am looking forward to developing the front of house team to create a first-class service and to create further success for the business centre as a place that conveys professionalism and allows the charities within to thrive with our assistance,” she added.
Norton Park Chief Executive Anne-Marie O’Hara is delighted to have Yolanda on-board.
She said: “This is a fantastic appointment for us as we look towards further developing our facilities, broadening what we are able to offer both our tenants and the wider community.
“Yolanda brings with her a wealth of experience which will be invaluable as build for the future. Along with the wider team, I am very much looking forward to working with her.”
