A media specialist with particular expertise in the news sector, Scott enjoyed a successful journalism career, before launching a highly-successful, multi award-winning PR agency.

Working with an extensive range of blue chip and household name clients, including Scottish Water, Mackie’s of Scotland and Cala Homes, he has delivered strategic communication advice to an extensive number of organisations across diverse sectors.

He also has far reaching experience working with charities, including Paths for All, Capability Scotland, LGBT Youth Scotland and Kids OR.

Scott’s media credentials are matched by his acumen in business and he has successfully launched ventures in photography, video and online content while deftly navigating his company through challenges including the global financial crash in 2008 and the Coronavirus pandemic in 2020.

A driving passion of Scott’s is to prove the measurable value of public relations for clients and to clearly demonstrate how that success can be calculated. That commitment has helped his PR team to garner many prestigious awards in at least 15 separate categories.

Scott started his career as a newspaper journalist who held senior posts at titles, including the Daily Record, before establishing the respected Scottish press agency, Deadline News.
